That moment when baby arrives and even the doctor pauses like…“whoa!”

I’m closing out the month of April as C-Section Awareness Month with a birth that had everyone smiling so big!

Look closely at this one (and maybe even zoom in a bit) because there are so many amazing things happening!!

Those very first moments where parents and baby connect are beautiful and moving! Time slows down and the room quiets as they see and touch each other, breathe each other in, and we can feel SO much love radiating from them 💕

Her body is strong and steady, arms resting gently over the curve that has carried so much ❤️

In the quiet time between contractions, there’s nothing particularly glamorous about this moment…but it holds a beauty all its own.

Take it all in - the little hands, the hair, the nose, those ears, and every little detail you can finally SEE on your baby 🥰❤️

I’m pretty sure that right there is the softest thing in the whole wide world! That fresh newborn baby skin is the besssst 😍

Give me all the pretty nurseries, sweet babies, and curious doggies ❤️

All of my newborn sessions are done in-home (I do not have a studio), so I can document as much or as little of your space and home life as possible!

These are the moments I love so much - when the whole family, whiskers and all, is settling into something new ❤️ Pets are just the best (something I didn’t understand until I had my own!)
